This year, we will feature two keynote speakers who will both present and teach a class during the convention. Additionally, we will offer classes on Nutrition, Mental Health, Building a Middle School Program, New Coach Education, Game Day 101 and much more! This conference is designed to help you, as a coach, grow, transform, and find inspiration for all your coaching objectives. After the final class on the first night, join us for our first annual social hour! Lunch will be provided on the second day of the conference! Come prepared to learn and enjoy an incredible NDCCA Coaches Convention in Bismarck, ND!
2025 Keynote Speakers

Triston Allen
A world champion athlete and 3-time world champion choreographer, Triston brings nearly 30 years of elite experience to the cheerleading industry. He has worked with over 50 high school and college programs nationwide, offering expert choreography, skills training, and coaching. From cheering at the University of Houston and the University of Kentucky to directing programs and mentoring athletes across the country, his impact is unmatched. Known for his results-driven mindset and passion for growth, Triston lives by the belief: "What you don't change, you choose." He continues to elevate the sport through excellence, experience, and connection.

Amy Weaston
Amy Weaston is the Head Cheer Coach at Seven Lakes High School, bringing over 24 years of experience in teaching and coaching at all levels from junior high to collegiate cheerleading. A highly decorated leader in the field, Amy has guided the Spartans to two Texas UIL 6A D1 State Championships and two NCA Super Large Varsity National titles. Recognized for excellence both on and off the field, Amy has been named Texas 5-6A Coach of the Year and was honored as Seven Lakes High School’s Teacher of the Year. A frequent speaker at major conferences such as the Texas Girls Coaches Association (TGCA) and Varsity University, Amy is passionate about helping students discover and develop their leadership potential. Through motivation, encouragement, and high standards, she empowers young athletes to become their best selves—on the mat and in life.

Eat to be Elite
Presenter: Dr. Rachel Iverson, DHSc RD CSSD
In this session we are going to talk about how to fuel your body to support your energy strength and performance as a cheerleader. Whether you are practicing performing or recovering what you eat makes a difference in how you feel and how you perform.
We will go over what balanced nutrition looks like and how to combine foods that give you energy build strength and help your body recover. You will also learn when to eat throughout the day so you can stay focused strong and ready for everything on your schedule.I will share real life examples of meals and snacks that fit into your routine and give you simple tools to fuel confidently. By the end of this session you will know how to support your body with the right nutrition at the right time so you can train harder recover faster and feel your best every day.
New Coach Education

Are you a new coach to cheer or a new coach to North Dakota? In this class we will help you understand what you need to get done to be certified. We will cover where you need to go and what to do and when to turn stuff in. You also will learn some tips to get your program off the ground and running. Like how to get parents supportive, develop a good relationship with your AD, scheduling and running practices, game expectations, and navigating competition.
