Becoming a Board Member of NDCCA

Please review the expectations for board members before proceeding to complete the application!

Member at Large Expectations:

- Attend monthly meetings virtually, typically held on Sundays at 7 PM, with a requirement to participate in at least 80% of all meetings.

- Be present at the NDCCA annual board meeting in person once a year, usually located in the Bismarck/Mandan area.

- Participate in all NDCCA sanctioned events, including but not limited to the Coaches Convention and all Competitions. While we understand that your team takes priority if competing, we encourage your support where needed during these events.

- Represent all cheerleaders and cheer coaches in North Dakota. When advice or input is given during board meetings, consider the overall cheerleading community in the state.

- Assist on committees as they are established.

- Be aware that cheer coaches may reach out to you as a resource or to relay requests to the board.

- Acknowledge that this role requires a significant time commitment, but it is also very rewarding!
