NDCCA Competition

Performance Routine

The Performance Routine division is designed to showcase a team’s ability to combine dance, stunting, tumbling, and performance skills into one cohesive routine. Coaches and athletes are responsible for reviewing all applicable general and division-specific rules before competition.

Performance Routine Requirements
  1. A maximum of 24 athletes may be on the floor for the Performance Routine.

  2. Each team will perform a choreographed routine up to 2 minutes, 15 seconds in length with a minimum length of 1 minute 45 seconds.

  3. Entire Routine will be performed to music. No cheer allowed in this routine.

  4. Timing will begin with the first movement or when the music starts by the cheer team after their team has been called to perform.

  5. Dances learned at camp may be used—but NOT the entire dance. (For example, you may use the same dance, but to different music.)
