Top Sideline Cheerleader
The Top Sideline division is designed to showcase an athlete’s ability to demonstrate strong cheerleading technique, jumps, motions, voice, and overall performance. This division focuses on individual cheerleading skills and performance quality. Athletes and Coaches should review all applicable general and division-specific rules before competing.
Top-Sideline Division Rules

Each participant will perform a routine up to, but not over, 1 minute. A participant who exceeds the time limit will be disqualified.

Contestants must perform an advanced jump appropriate for their ability level.

Contestants will be judged on cheer motions, jumps, voice, spirit, and crowd appeal, which may be demonstrated through cheers, chants, and other appropriate elements.

No props, signs, or megaphones are permitted. Poms are allowed.

Top Sideline will be divided into Class AA (Varsity and JV) and Class A/B (Varsity and JV) divisions.

Tumbling is not allowed in the Top Sideline division.
Top Sideline Scoring
Top Sideline will be scored using the official NDCCA Top Sideline scoring rubric. The event is scored on a 40-point scale.
